Andrew, the founder, trained as a tool maker with a major construction equipment company, giving him the unique skills to draw the parts and design tooling for their remanufacture.
Andrew had been running an engineering workshop since the age of 14, and with this new tractor restoration project, the workshop expanded to include lathes, CNC milling machines, presses, and other precision equipment. While tackling the challenge of rebuilding the Leyland, Andrew realised that many other enthusiasts were struggling to find parts for these classic tractors. So, he manufactured a few pairs of doors and mudguards, planting the seed of what would become Tractor Spare Parts Ltd.
From these humble beginnings, Andrew used his expert eye for detail and experience in tooling design to gradually produce a growing range of parts. Over time, the small collection became a complete inventory of components for Nuffield, Leyland, and Marshall tractors, ensuring enthusiasts worldwide could restore their machines to factory-original standards.
As industrial engineering declined during the recession, Andrew focused fully on tractor parts, creating a professional online platform to provide a worldwide shopping experience.
