1A2149 - Thermostat gasket fitted to the BMC 1800 diesel engines
Fitted to the following tractors:
Leyland 184, 235, 302
Marshall 302
Fitted the BMC 1800 based diesel marine engines, Thornycroft 108 and Leyland Sherpa.
Please note while original gasket was cork, we find that when a cork gasket is used, it can lead to overtightening which can lead to distortion of the thermostat housing. Here we are offering a 1.5 mm thick paper gasket and we find that this works much better.Â
