1A2149 - Thermostat gasket fitted to the BMC 1800 diesel engines
Fitted to the following tractors:
Leyland 184, 235, 302
Marshall 302
Fitted the BMC 1800-based diesel marine engines, Thornycroft 108 and Leyland Sherpa.
Please note that while the original gasket was cork, we find that using a cork gasket can lead to overtightening, which can distort the thermostat housing. Here, we are offering a 1.5 mm-thick paper gasket, and we find that it works much better.Â
