Yes, these mudguards can be fitted to a Leyland 344, but they will require some modification. This mudguard pair is a direct bolt-on fit (with no modification required) for the following models: Nuffield 4/65 Leyland 384 Leyland 270 Leyland 262 Leyland 272 Leyland 282 Leyland 462 Leyland 472 Leyland 482 (all without the optional Safety cab) For the Leyland 344 and Nuffield 3/45, the top pressing of the mudguard is the same, however the lower flat panel is longer on these models. To make them fit correctly, the bottom section will need to be cut down to length before fitting. So in summary: Leyland 344: Will fit with modification Leyland 270 / 272 / 282 etc: Direct fit, no modification This is a common approach when restoring these models, and the modification is straightforward for anyone comfortable with basic metalwork.
