NT3421 - Nuffield fan belt, 48" long, 22mm (7/8") wide by 14mm (35/64")
Fitted to the following tractors:
Nuffield M3, M4 - Fitted to the Morris Commercial engines, ETA and ETB engines.
Nuffield PM4 - Fitted to the Morris Commercial engines, ETA and ETB engines.
Nuffield DM4 - Perkins P4 - ref no. 0070408 water pump and dynamo belt (not fan belt on this model)Â
Note that late M4 engines are fitted with a fan belt NT7045Â

Fan belt adjustment for the Nuffield M4
The tension of the fan and dynamo belt is adjusted by slackening the two bolts on which the dynamo pivots, loosening the bolt that secures the dynamo to the slotted link, and pulling the dynamo outwards until the belt is correctly tensioned.
The correct tension is achieved when the belt can be depressed approximately 1" (25.4 mm) with light hand pressure at the midpoint between the crankshaft pulley and the fan pulley.
