Locking the arms – used for ‘parking’ the linkage only

We get asked all the time about the mechanism for locking the arm on the Leyland and Marshall tractors. This locking mechanism is used for ‘parking’ the linkage when a tractor is not in use, or when carrying out repairs or adjustments to a mounted implement in the raised position.

BMC and Leyland Parts Books – Why Knowledge Is Key When Using Parts Books

Here at Tractor Spare Parts, we have a lot of knowledge and experience, which we have picked up after 20 years of working solely with Nuffield, Leyland, and Marshall tractor parts. I am not sure which year this page from the magazine was printed in, but we do know that Purolator filters were founded in New York in 1923. Repairing a leak on the PTO selector lever – a simple O-ring fix

The eagle-eyed of you may have noticed that earlier this week I put up a couple of new videos on our Tractor Spare Parts Ltd You Tube channel. One of these videos showed Andy pointing to our own Universal 3 and showing where the PTO selector lever is to the left-hand side of the seat. We had a customer who had a leak on this PTO selector shaft and wanted to know how easy it is to stop the leak. I thought that this was a very good question and thought I would document this in this week’s blog

Cold Start – A suitable blog for these cold days

As I am writing this blog, we are at the beginning of a cold snap here in the UK. It might not be as cold as many other parts of the world who would laugh in our face at -6 oC, but it is cold enough.
