Quality replacement corrugated atomiser seal washer suitable for BMC 950, Leyland 1500 and Leyland 1800 diesel engine injectors.
This injector heat shield washer is fitted beneath the injector and is designed to provide correct sealing and heat protection within the cylinder head.
Correct installation of this washer is very important.
12H220 acts as a heat shield beneath the injector and if fitted incorrectly, the injector can seize in the cylinder head when the engine becomes hot.
Please refer to the cross-sectional fitting diagram and installation notes before fitting - this corrugated wahser is item 16 on the diagram.
