This is a new ignition key switch suitable for BMC Mini, Nuffield 4/25 and Leyland 154tractor applications. All early BMC Mini tractors were fitted with this type of switch.
Important operation note:
Turn the key in an anti-clockwise direction to the first stop to switch on the heater plugs. The amber warning light on the instrument panel will light when the switch is in this position.
Hold the switch in this position for approximately 30 seconds, then turn the key a further amount in the same direction to switch on the starter motor.
