Steering box shim measuring 0.010" (approximately 0.254mm) thick, fitted between the steering box tube and casing on BMC Mini, Nuffield and Leyland tractors.
Used when adjusting the steering box assembly. Shims are added between the outer tube and the housing until end float is eliminated in the steering column shaft. This shim has the same profile as gasket 7H6034 and the alternative thickness shims listed below.
