Engine Oil Pump for Engines with Balancer Unit – 86K1585

This replacement engine oil pump is fitted to selected BMC/Leyland 3.4, 3.8 and 4/98 engines with balancer weights fitted in the sump.

Important Information

Only suitable for engines fitted with the balancer unit / balancer weights in the sump
Supplied with O-ring – TRS1216
Supplied with bush – 37H7946
When fitting a new oil pump, it is important to check that there is backlash between the driving and driven gears
Early 3.4 and 3.8 engines without this arrangement use a different oil pump – see Engine Oil Pump – 27H4767

Correct setting and installation of the oil pump is important.
