Modified Rear Crank Seal Housing Kit

The AJR4005-Housing is a modified replacement rear crankshaft seal and carrier housing assembly for Perkins engines originally fitted with the AJR4005 rope-type rear crank seal.

The kit includes the replacement seal, carrier and ARJ4006 gasket. This kit includes a rubber gasket which means that the original paper gasket is not required. 

Compatible Tractors:

Leyland

• Leyland 253 – up to engine number 152U79697DL
• Leyland 245 – up to engine number 152U79697DL

Important Information:

• This replacement housing is for engines originally fitted with the AJR4005 rope seal only.
• Later engines were fitted with a lip-type rear crankshaft seal. For these engines see AHM2040.
• Check the engine number and original seal type before ordering.
