This quality replacement limiting ring, part number ATJ6747, is used in the top link anchor bracket Belleville washer assembly on selected Nuffield, Leyland and Marshall tractors.
The limiting rings are fitted between each pair of single Belleville washers to ensure the washer pack operates correctly. See the second and third pictures which shows the order of belleville washers and limiting rings. However, for proper fitting instructions please follow the workshop manual.

The limiting rings form part of the Belleville washer assembly and help ensure the washer pack functions correctly. During overhaul, inspect the Belleville washers, limiting rings, pin and nut for wear, replacing any damaged components before reassembly.
