CTJ5430 - Master cylinder used for both the clutch and brakes. Located in the cab and attaches to the clutch and brake pedals via a fork and clevis pin.

Cylinder bore 0.875"

NOTE: This cylinder can be used as an alternative to CTJ3143 and CTJ5078 on the Leyland 285, 485, 2100, 4100 models.

NOTE: Seal kit AAU6540 does not fit this cylinder

These are an alternative cylinder, which fit in the same manner as the originals.

Important: Use with DOT 4 clutch and brake fluid.

Warning: For optimum results and safety, It is recommended that all work should be carried out by a suitably trained fitter/mechanic and worn units should be replaced by the new units. If it is decided to service a used component particular attention should be paid to the following. If in doubt or difficulty fit a new unit or seek professional help.

Warning: Clean brake parts with only Brake Cleaner or unused Brake Fluid as recommended by the vehicle manufacturer. Use only Brake Fluid recommended by the vehicle manufacturer in the Braking System. If in doubt always consult the vehicle handbook.
