GEU216 50 amp alternator for Nuffield, Leyland and Marshall tractors.

This is a new 50 amp alternator suitable for a wide range of Nuffield, Leyland and Marshall tractor models. It is a replacement for the Lucas 16 ACR and Lucas 17 ACR alternators.

The alternator is also suitable for applications fitted with the BMC 1500 and BMC 1800 engines.

Important fitting note:

The alternator mounting position depends on the engine fitted to the tractor:

On BMC and Leyland engines, the alternator is mounted on the left hand side of the engine
On Perkins engines fitted to the Leyland 245 and Leyland 253, the alternator is mounted on the right hand side of the engine

Please check your existing alternator type, mounting position and wiring before ordering.
