To fit a core plug you must first ensure that the surface is clean and clear of all debris. You can offer up the core plug to make sure it is the correct size, as other size core plugs are available. You can use a small smear of a Bondloc B270 which is a high temperature Studlock on the outside of the core plug to ensure a better seal. Then simply tap it in square with a suitable sized flat face.
