NT6690 is a replacement 90° air cleaner hose for selected Nuffield tractors. Unlike the ATJ3061 hose, this version has different internal diameters at each end, making it suitable for tractors with different-sized air cleaner and intake connections.
Manufactured from durable rubber, this hose provides a secure, airtight connection between the air cleaner assembly and the engine intake system, helping to ensure only clean, filtered air reaches the engine.

The air cleaner hose forms an important part of the engine's induction system, carrying clean, filtered air from the air cleaner to the engine. A properly sealed intake system helps prevent dust, dirt and other abrasive particles from entering the engine, reducing unnecessary engine wear and helping to prolong engine life.
Over time, original rubber hoses can harden, crack or split due to age, heat and exposure to oil. Any damage can allow unfiltered air to bypass the air cleaner, reducing filtration efficiency and increasing engine wear.
When replacing the hose, it is also advisable to inspect the hose clips. Worn or corroded clips may not provide an effective seal, so fitting new clips helps ensure the air intake system remains airtight.
This hose is often confused with ATJ3061. Although both are 90° air cleaner hoses, NT6690 has a 56 mm internal diameter at one end and 47 mm at the other, whereas ATJ3061 has a 56 mm internal diameter at both ends. Always compare the dimensions of your existing hose before ordering to ensure the correct replacement is supplied.
