86K1098 - Injector sleeve as fitted to the Leyland 4/98 and 6/98 engines.
This injector sleeve must beĀ rolled top and bottom with Churchill service tools as shown in the picture.Ā All sleeves should be fitted with 86K1099 injector washer. Late engines are fitted with a O-ring 86K906 - Please check if your engine had O-rings fitted or not and put them back if they came out.

If rolling tools are not available please use part number 37D2599 as this can fitted without rolling tools. When using 37D2599 sleeve you do not require injector washer 86K1099.
We do not have any of the Churchill fitting tools for the fitting of the injector sleeves. They are an expensive set of tools, so typically only garages who service a lot of Leyland engines would invest in the set of tools. Here at Tractor Spare Parts we have developed an injector sleeve of part number 37D2599 which can be fitted without these rolling tools. This injector sleeve is machined from a solid piece and has the O-ring integrated. It can be fitted to the BMC and Leyland cylinder heads without specialist tools.
