Fluid Specification: Use DOT 4 clutch and brake fluid, as specified for the application.

Before fitting a repair kit, carefully inspect the existing slave cylinder for wear, corrosion, scoring or other damage. A repair kit should only be fitted to a cylinder that is in suitable condition for reuse. If the cylinder is worn or damaged, replace the complete unit rather than attempting to repair it.
Cleaning: Clean brake hydraulic components only with a suitable brake cleaner or fresh, unused brake fluid, as recommended by the vehicle manufacturer. Do not use unsuitable cleaning products that could damage the hydraulic seals.
Always use the brake fluid specified for the tractor and follow the relevant workshop manual. If in doubt, seek professional advice before carrying out repairs.
