CTJ3826 is a UK manufactured replacement engine stop cable for selected Nuffield, Leyland and Marshall tractors. Manufactured in the UK using quality materials, this cable is produced to closely match the original specification and cable length, making it the preferred choice for restorations, original rebuilds and working tractors.
If you are looking for a lower-cost alternative, ATJ9142 is also available as a non-UK manufactured replacement cable.
This tractor stop cable features a durable outer casing, a strong inner cable and a red pull knob marked "PULL TO STOP". Please note that the knob is a darker shade of red than the original factory-fitted cable (see product photographs).
These dimensions closely match the original cable, helping to ensure straightforward installation without the need to accommodate excess cable length.
The engine stop cable provides a reliable mechanical connection between the dashboard pull knob and the fuel injection pump stop lever. Over time, the original cable can become stiff, corroded or seize internally, making the engine difficult to stop or requiring excessive pulling force.
