CTJ69 Standard Cab Frame Mounting Bolt (10")

CTJ69 is a replacement cab frame mounting bolt used to secure the Standard cab (often referred to as the Rattle Cab) to the axle mounting on selected Leyland tractors.

Manufactured to the correct dimensions, this bolt measures ¾" diameter x 10" long (under the head) and is designed for use in the cab mounting assembly on Standard cab tractors. Whether replacing worn, damaged or missing original bolts during a restoration or cab refurbishment, this bolt provides the correct fit for the applications listed below.

Important Information

• Bolt size: ¾" diameter × 10" long (measured under the head)
• Used on tractors fitted with the Standard (Rattle) Cab
• Two CTJ69 bolts are required per cab

Each Standard cab also requires:

• 6 × CTJ70 – ¾" × 8" Cab Frame Mounting Bolts

Please note: The 262 and 272 were more commonly fitted with the Quiet Cab in the UK. CTJ69 is only suitable for tractors fitted with the Standard (Rattle) Cab, which was typically supplied on export models.

Technical Notes

The Standard cab is secured to the tractor using a combination of mounting bolts that attach the cab frame to the rear axle mounting brackets. These bolts are subjected to constant vibration and load during normal operation, making them susceptible to corrosion, stretching or damage over many years of service.

Replacing missing or deteriorated mounting bolts helps maintain the rigidity of the cab structure and reduces unnecessary movement, vibration and noise.

This bolt is specifically intended for Standard (Rattle) Cab installations and should not be confused with components used on Quiet Cab tractors, which have a different mounting arrangement.

Before ordering, please confirm that your tractor is fitted with a Standard (Rattle) Cab and check the bolt length required, as both 10-inch (CTJ69) and 8-inch (CTJ70) bolts are used in the same cab assembly.
