This is a new starter drive pinion, also known as a Bendix starter drive, for selected Nuffield tractor starter motors.
Please see the diagram in the pictures for location of this starter drive.
This part is used with starter motor BMK1032, old Nuffield part number BMK397. This starter drive only fits the original starter motors with part number BMK1032 / BMK397. It does not fit the reproduction starter motors.
This is a direct replacement part, as the old style starter drive is no longer available.
This part number supersedes 27H5528.
