Marshall 502 Engine Block

An engine block, sometimes referred to as a cylinder block, is the bottom end of an engine. It is here that the crankshaft spins, the camshaft is held and the pistons move in the cylinder bores. The cylinder head is placed on top of the engine block, which allows the pistons to move up and down and turn the crankshaft.

The Marshall 502 is fitted with a Perkins AD3.152 engine which is a fabulous little engine, and doesn’t give much trouble, even though they are over 40 years old. But occasionally things happen and parts of the engine need replacing, or it needs a complete rebuild. We can help! If you need spare parts for your Perkins AD3.152 engine in your Marshall 502 tractor then we can help you. The Perkins AD3.152 engines in these later Marshall 502 tractors should all have the later lip seal type arrangement, whereas the earlier engines had a rope seal.

Common problems with Marshall 502 engine blocks can include external engine coolant leaks caused by a loose core plug, and wear to the cylinder liners and piston rings. If you find an issue with your engine block, we stock a wide range of Marshall 502 engine block parts to help with repairs and restoration of these kinds of engine. All of these parts and components are expertly remanufactured by our team at Tractor Spare Parts Ltd to ensure longevity and performance upon installation.

As well as MARSHALL 502 engine block parts, we stock a wide variety of other MARSHALL 502 engine parts including those for the cooling system, oil delivery, electrics, gaskets, and fuel systems. We make up engine kits specifically tailored to your engine, but for this we need your engine serial number – found on the top of the engine block. Contact us today with this serial number and we can help you with the required parts.
